The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley is proudly announcing its newly elected leadership for the 2024-2025 term. The elections took place on June 18, 2024, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, PA. There was significant participation, and representatives from the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Easton, PA, including Kosta Karaminas, were present for the first time.
Our new President, Harry Karapalides, Esq., brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as President and Vice President. He will be supported by our new Vice President, John Vasiliou. The Executive Board will also include Carissa Fafalios as Corresponding Secretary, Maria Agatsiotis as Recording Secretary, and Peter Papadeas as Treasurer.
The Board of Directors will be led by Chairman Georgia I. Chletcos. It will consist of Ana Bousoulas, Michael Economou, Stathis Karadonis, Chris Papadeas, Dan Pithis, Demetrios Rozanitis, Artemis Tsingiropoulos, and Zoe Tripolitis. Legal advisors George G. Horiates, Esq., and George Rassias, Esq., will provide their service.
As we welcome the new leadership, we also express our deep appreciation for the outgoing President, Georgia Chletcos, and the dedication of the board and members during her tenure. We look forward to the new leadership continuing to foster the Hellenic heritage in the region with renewed vigor and commitment.
