Our Greek Independence Day celebration is a cornerstone event that brings together the community in a vibrant display of Hellenic pride and cultural richness. This multi-day festivity showcases the depth and diversity of Greek heritage through a variety of events:
- Traditional dance performances by local Greek schools
- A formal Greek Flag Raising Ceremony at Philadelphia City Hall
- Religious services, including Salutations and a Great Doxology
- The Eleftheria Banquet, a festive dinner celebrating Greek independence
- The highlight of the celebration: a grand parade through the streets of Philadelphia
