On Saturday, April 5, 2025, we invite you to experience an unforgettable evening where Greek heritage, culture, and community come together in a spectacular black-tie celebration. The Eleftheria Gala, hosted by the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley, is more than just a glamorous night out—it’s a chance to honor our shared history and support an important tradition: the Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade.
Set in the elegant Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, this event brings together dignitaries, community leaders, and guests from across the region for an evening of fine dining, cultural tributes, and lively entertainment. Whether you have deep Greek roots or simply appreciate the richness of Hellenic culture, this is a night you won’t want to miss.

A Weekend of Greek Heritage & Celebration
The Eleftheria Gala is just the beginning of a weekend filled with Greek pride. On Sunday, April 6, we’ll gather once again for the Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade, marching proudly along Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Why This Night Matters
While the Eleftheria Gala is a night of celebration, it’s also a major fundraiser for the Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade. The parade is more than just a tradition—it’s a powerful reminder of our history, heritage, and community spirit. By attending the gala, you’re directly helping to ensure that this important event continues for future generations.
The Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning all donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible. Sponsorship opportunities include gala tickets and reserved seating at the parade grandstands for an up-close view of the festivities.
