A Tradition of Honor and Pride

This year’s ceremony will welcome His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey, along with federal, state, and local officials, religious leaders, and distinguished guests from Greece. A highlight of the event will be the presence of the Greek Presidential Guard (Evzones), renowned for their historic uniforms and symbolic role in Greek history.

Following the flag-raising, the celebration continues with a traditional Greek dance performance, bringing the energy and spirit of Greece to the heart of Philadelphia.

A Celebration for the Entire Community

This free event is open to all, whether you have Greek heritage or simply appreciate history and culture. It’s an opportunity to honor the past, celebrate the present, and come together as a community.
