Lampros, a 4 1/2 year old boy from Cyprus, has spent most of his life in and out of intensive care at Tel Hashomer-Sheba Hospital near Tel Aviv. His parents, Pantelis and Christina, have been with him, and for the past 4 years have been unemployed. The cost of treatment is covered by the Republic of Cyprus, and the family depends on loans, family and friend contributions, and the occasional fundraiser to support themselves.

Lampros suffers from a very rare disorder, General Lymphangiomatosis. He arrived in Philadelphia in a special medevac flight from Tel Aviv. He will be treated at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, by Dr. Yoav Dori, who has developed a novel procedure which addresses some of the main problems of the disease.

We are working with the Cyprus Embassy in Washington DC, the American Jewish Community in Philadelphia / South Jersey and the AHEPA Chapter in Philadelphia to support the family. We also need your support as well.

We have set up a FUND Site to accept donations to support the family. Your donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. You can donate at the link gofund.me/szg6xcys and the funds collected will go to this family in need.
