New York – Greece’s Governing Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who was paying an official visit to New York held a short meeting with the President of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley, Mr. Stathis Karadonis and the two Chairmen of the Board of Trustees Mr. George Horiates Esq. and Dimitris Rozanitis.
During this meeting, the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras discussed with the Federation officers issues of general relevance for the Greeks of the area and especially the Federation of Greek Societies of Philadelphia.
The informal meeting introduced the Philadelphia community to Alexis Tsipras who was very interested in visiting Philadelphia on his next visit.
